HortNZ: UX, Website design and development
Horticulture New Zealand (HortNZ) came to us looking to redevelop their web site to create a dynamic and engaging user experience which demonstrates the value of HortNZ brings to their membership.
HortNZ had outgrown their old website, making it very difficult to find key information. The new website design and information architecture reflects where HortNZ is now as an organisation. It has now become a platform that will allow them to grow in the future. The key information is easy to find and reaches the target audiences faster than ever before.
The website gives HortNZ the capability to share up to the minute news, updates and releases, and is now the organisations key communication hub. Intuitively delivering a range of dynamic content and information. The website features a beautifully responsive design supporting mobile devices and tablets, making it easily accessible across all devices. It also provides a search function delivering focused results to the user through a flawless and intuitive information architecture.
As part of this project we focused on UX, and website design. To develop a valuable resource of information and news for HortNZ and their members.
Alongside the main website design and development, we have also been working on an adaptive section of the site to be used on mobile devices at the 2015 HortNZ Conference. This is a really handy tool for attendees to use while at the conference, featuring the programme, speakers, accommodation and other useful information.
